Jerry Harris
Jerry Harris, born on June 7, 1948, in Shelbyville, TN, is 76 years old and has been deeply involved in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. His love for horses began in childhood after riding a spotted pony, which led to working in training barns during high school, breaking and starting Tennessee Walking Horse colts. A devoted trail rider, Jerry is the producer and host of the TV show What A Horse, which he has led for the past 24 years. The show highlights various aspects of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry and breed, covering everything from trail rides and extreme cowboy competitions to the Tennessee Walking Performance Horse.



Jerry Williams
Jerry Williams, born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, learned about horses from his father, the late Roosevelt Williams, a second-generation Tennessee Walking Horse trainer. At 19, Jerry pursued a career in horse training, building on his father's teachings and forging his own path. With over two decades of experience, Jerry has worked with various breeds, including Tennessee Walking Horses, Arabians, Saddlebreds, Thoroughbreds, and Minis, across disciplines like performance, ranch style, driving, and both English and Western riding. For the past 22 years, Jerry has lived in Bedford County, Tennessee, where he operates Jerry Williams Stables at Uncle Nearest Distillery in Shelbyville, earning a reputation for excellence as a trainer, coach, and mentor.
